A few random thoughts

I don't have a main theme for this post, but I do have a few quick thoughts.

• I'm looking forward to skiing the Alps while we're in Europe. I grew up skiing in New England, and something tells me the view atop Matterhorn is going to be slightly different.
• I've been browsing through a book called Living and Working in Italy for a short while now. So far its been a good resource for the finer points of moving there, and the differences between American and Italian culture and customs.
• We heard back from my relatives that we contacted a few weeks back, and they're willing to help us out! So that was some encouraging news to get, and now we've got to keep pressing on with learning the language and planning our trip!
