Ricardo and I just returned from a cruise with several of his high school friends and their wives/fiancees/girlfriends. It was an amazing trip and we all got along wonderfully. We went ziplining in Honduras, we snorkeled in Grand Cayman, we found a local Mexican restaurant in Cozumel and relaxed by the beach at Princess Cays. We played bingo (I'm now obsessed with bingo), danced, ate, drank, and had a wonderful time. Ricardo even participated in a Mr. Sexy Legs competition. The crew on the ship was from all over the world and there were several from Italy. We tried to speak Italian with them and they seemed to get a kick out of it. I was even able to use my limited knowledge of Ukrainian to speak with our waitress one night. We realized that we are not cruise people though. It was perfect for our group of ten people, but I don't think we'll be cruising again anytime soon.
We have only been back for one day, have not even caught up on laundry, sleep, work, etc. and I'm already thinking about our next trip. I just love, love, love to travel. Ricardo and I are considering the Pacific Northwest for a wine tour this fall. We are also looking into Kentucky Derby tickets so we can check that off of the bucket list. They are quite pricey though so we will have to see.
Arrivederci!
